Victoria win New Zealand Easters, and the final hasn't even happened yet.

Victoria Wellington have guranteed to make it 10 wins on the trot at the New Zealand University Impromptu Debating Champs (also known as NZ "Easters") by getting two teams to this year's final.

In the first semi final Vic 2 (Yogesh Patel & Ihaia Tichborne) defeated Canterbury 1 on the motion that that developing countries should always host the Olympics.

In the second Semi Final Vic 1 (Polly Higbee & Richard D'Ath) defeated Vic 3 (Ella Edginton & Kathy Scott-Dowell) in the final on the motion That employers should be able to discriminate on religious grounds.

Update: Vic 1 defeated Vic 2 in the final
