The University of Sydney 2 team defeated the University of Queensland 2 team in the final of the 2008 Australian Intervarsity Debating Championships (aka Easters) hosted by Macquarie University.
Claudia Newman-Martin from ANU was the best speaker.
Michael Falk and Paul Karp (both Sydney) were the top Novice speakers.
