Claremont win USDC

Claremont Colleges Debating Union (Charlie Sprague and Jesse Katz-Blumenthal) have won the United States Universities Debating Championship (USDC) 2010 hosted by Regis University and Denver University.


In the final they defeated Portland State University, Stanford University and Yale University.

The beaten semi-finalists were Vermont, Bates College, and two teams from the Alaska.

The University of Vermont was selected to host the 2011 championships.
