This house believes governments should subsidise private home ownership.
The motion for the EFL final is
This house would prohibit all private health care.
You can tell Colm is posting from a phone because I think that should be HOME ownership (if you try to type 'home' on a phone 'good' comes up first
That makes much more sense.
Yes, according to http://yourgermancorrespondent.blogspot.com/it is home ownership.
Who'd want to prop this motion? Good luck OGs.
Yeh, complete agreement. It's an awful Prop motion. Thankfully both Australian teams are on the Opp...
Be surprised if OGs get through....but stranger things have happened this tourney and maybe those two teams are very good or very lucky or both.
I think Stephen Whittington will set this up sweetly for Victoria.
At least this will mean no Economics in the GF...
And after Stephen Whittington, Lewis Bollard, fellow New Zealander but from Harvard on OO? What a clash!
Polly will eat Lewis for breakfast.
Hope someone records that debate then....
It's the debate with the "US" team, so hopefully that means it was recorded...
By "US" you mean Irish and Kiwi?
Heh. I remember the year NYU won.
I don't think I'd want to be in the back half. There's a lot of decent material for first gov and opp but not heaps for the second teams. Assuming first teams do their jobs that is.
It's nearly 1am here.... debates must be out by now?
Yes....going off to see the ESL final
Ha, I love that my 1am friend is a proud Kiwi. Go Higbee-Whittington!!
No, not a kiwi. There's just not much to do here in the Marshall Islands at night.
Debate finished around midnight NZ time, results to be announced about 2am NZ time (thats about 40 mins away) after the ESL final.
ESL final going great guns. See Your German Correspondent for live updates.
