Daniel de Kadt and Brandon Almeira from the University of KwaZulu-Natal have won the South African National Universities Debating Championships in Bloemfontein. they defeated two UCT and a Wits team in the final on the motion THW force catholic adoption agencies to allow homosexual couples to adopt

Best ESL speaker was Ummar Segadimo (University of Botswana).
