Following discussions at the meetings of the World Schools Debating Council over the past several years and in-principle approval of the concept ofi ncorporation in a postal ballot last year, a Working Group of the World Schools Debating Council Executive Committee has drawn up proposals to establish the World Schools Debating Championships as a limited company, which will subsequently apply for charitable status.
A postal ballot of the World Schools Debating Council is about to be held from 13 - 27 April to elect the members of the Motions Selection Committee for WSDC 2008. Simultaneous to this vote, the Executive Committee plans to also hold a vote on the incorporation proposals.
