Some updates from the Austral Asians Council (AIDA):
Victoria University in New Zealand will host Austral-Asians in 2012.
Duncan Campbell re-elected AIDA President for 2012.
The break was expanded from 16 to 24 teams with Double Octo-finals introduced
There is a cap of no more than 4 teams from one institution making the break. Sydney had 7 teams in the top 24 so three of their teams missed out. But Sydney 4, who had broken 4th suddenly had to go home so then AIDA council voted to allow one of the "capped out" Sydney teams take their place.
