Round 1 motion was announced at 10:30 which was apparently just 20 minutes behind schedule so well done Cork. I've been at worlds in the past where we were still waiting for round 1 at lunch time.
Speaking of lunch there were no queue when i got there. Walked straight up and got a roll and an orange. 30 seconds tops so they seem to have solved the queue problem from yesterday. Also people tend to be a bit more staggered in arriving from the oral adjudications (some are longer than others) so that helps.
My round 1 was not the best debate and was fairly easy to call.
And they have just asked people to take their seats for the round 2 announcement so we must still be close to the schedule.
