World Schools guidelines

For those looking to find more details on the debating style of the upcoming World Schools debating Championships the official schoolsdebate website contains an excellent guide.

Each debate has two teams of three speakers.
Each debater speaks once. Then after all six debaters have spoken once, the first or second speaker from each team gives a "reply speech".

The reply speech is half the length of the main speeches.

Points of information can be offered during the main speeches but not during reply speeches.
