This was a very poorly run tournament. Rounds began at 4 pm on the first day, and ended late into the night. They did not have any dinner arrangements and by that time (past 10) most places were closed. The location was also unsafe, especially late at night-- one of the girls in our contingent got mugged on her way home. I know it was their first year, but the organizers were really most inconsiderate hosts, and quite unapologetic about wasting our time.

    Hi Bry.

I would like to apologize for the inconveniences you experienced.

The reason why the debates were delayed during the first day was because there was an earthquake and we had to evacuate the buildings. During the second and third days, there were delays because many participants were late for some reasons.

I am quite shocked to learn that one of your colleagues was mugged. You should have told the organizing committee so we could have taken the necessary steps.

    Again, we apologize.
