The British and Irish Masters On Saturday 22nd July, Debate Chamber will hold a one-day tournament to round up the debating year. The British and Irish Masters is a 64-team knockout tournament, held in London, which will boast a hopefully impressive prize fund of over £1000.
Any two people can register as a team and they will be seeded according to their Debate Championship ranking. Entertainment will include a review of the year, Debate Championship prizes, a wine reception and the chance to cheer on the people who knocked you out in round 1.
All teams must register and pay in advance - but the good news is that registration is only £10 per person. If you would like to come along, please email nhsdebating@hotmail.com. Again, more information will be posted soon.
