Ian Lising, Chair of the Worlds Executive Committee announced that the committee has officially ratified the University of British Columbia's bid to host the 27thWorld Universities Debating Championship in 2007.
All that is left is the formalconfirmation during the World Council meeting at the UCD Worlds 2006 in Dublin.
