Belgrade Open 2010

The Belgrade Open is coming back in 2010 on February 26 to March 1. We've put together great debates and excellent socials for you in the city that was recently proclaimed the World's Party Capital and voted the #1 destination in the world by Lonely Planet readers.

Our adjudication team is led by our Chief Adjudicator, Leela Koenig, best ESL Speaker in both WUDC and EUDC (twice) and CA of EUDC 2010. We are also pleased to have Mila Turajlic, best speaker in EUDC 2001 and DCA of EUDC 2004, as our DCA. They will be joined by the enthusiastic regional judging pool, coordinated by Milan Vignjevic.

The tournament's Grand Final will be held in the National Parliament of Serbia, one of the most exciting and historic speaking venues on the debating circuit (makes up for great Facebook profile pictures). All the venues are within walking distance from your accomodation, Hotel Kasina, which has the distinction of being Belgrade's oldest hotel.

We invite you to register for the tournament and experience all that is Belgrade. The registration fee is 40 euros per participant and the deadline is February 15, 2010. We encourage you to register early in order to guarantee a spot in the tournament.

For more information regarding the tournament, the city and travel details, click through to our website at www.belgradeopen.rs or join our Facebook group.

Looking forward to welcoming you in Belgrade,

Manos Moschopoulos
