This year, we are holding true to that theme - Peace. We have appointed a Peace Ambassador for WUPID that will ensure that whatever you lot will be debating this time round will be relevant to real world conflicts and crisis. Our esteemed Peace Ambassador is also the Honorary Advisor to the Perdana Global Peace Foundation so start researching!

De La Salle Worlds Assistant Chief Adjudicators‏

To the World Debate Community,

Greetings in St. La Salle!

We would like to proudly announce the appointment of the 2 Assistant Chief Adjudicators for De La Salle Worlds: Julian Bautista and Kurt See. Both Julian and Kurt have been consistently declared as top debaters of both Asia and the Philippines. Kurt has been CA of the Mahidol Mixers in Bangkok, and DCA of the Philippine Schools Debate Championship, the CMLI debate tournament, and the La Salle IV this year. Julian, on the other hand, was the former President and Team Captain of the La Salle Debate Society and has been a Philippine Masters Cup Champion, CA of the Interscholastic Debaters' Association and the Asian Schools Debate Championship.
The Orgcomm thought of appointing two ACAs this year given that we have two CAs and that this will be the largest Worlds as of date.

The role of the ACAs will include being the bridge of the OrgComm to the Adjudication Team as well as coordinate their Administrative and Logistical needs. They will also assist the the two CAs and the rest of the Adjudication Team in carrying out their responsibilities.

Let's all wish both Kurt and Julian all the best as they assume their new roles!

Cheers,

Dino de Leon
Convenor, De La Salle Worlds

Lucinda David and Sam Block
Co-Chief Adjudicators, De La Salle Worlds
