We are unable to respond to them at this time.

There have been a number of questions about accommodation pre/ post tournament.Accommodation is avaliable at the Sheraton. The cost is $110 per night per room, plus applicable taxes. You can book directly online athttp://www.sheratonwallcentre.com/. The cutoff for getting the special rate is December 4th.

EUDC 2007 update

To our friends across Europe and possibly beyond,

It is with great pleasure that we can announce some of the key details of The European Universities Debating Championships to be held at Koc University, Istanbul, Turkey in 2007. We would like to apologise for any delay in booking flights or time off that we may have caused but we needed to be sure.

For the moment, two pieces of information are important: date and costs.
So:
Dates: Sunday 5th August to Saturday 11th August 2007.

Cost: 140€ per person. 10€ per extra night both before and after the tournament.

We will come back to you after Worlds with further information on the finalised judging team, team and institution caps as well as details of how to register. We will need to discuss the team cap with Council and previous hosts before we can come to a final decision.

For the time being, all we can say is that we hope you can find the money and the time in that long summer to join us in Istanbul for what should be a memorable and competitive EUDC 2007.

Yours,
Riza Isik
Convenor
